Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. in Hull is recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join the depot and act as the frontline of sales and customer service. You will coordinate the hire process from order through to delivery, liaising with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure customer needs are met.

The role is desk-based, requires strong organisational and communication skills, adaptability, and a driving license. Prior hire industry or similar sales/operational experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational, written and verbal communication are essential.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn quickly.
• Previous experience in hire or similar sales/operational roles preferred.
• Commitment to learning and development.
• Must hold a valid driving licence.
• Experience in ESG initiatives is advantageous.

Job Title - Customer Service Advisor

Location - Hull

Working Hours - Mon - Fri, 07:30 - 17:00 - 42 hours per week

Salary £29,572 per annum, pro rata

Based in the depot, the Customer Service Advisor is a vital part of operations on the front line of sales and customer service. Relationship building is the key to success, as the Hire Controller coordinates the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that they’re satisfied with our service.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based, working directly with the other departments, liaising regularly with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure minimal delay in fulfilling the needs of the customer with readily available equipment and close contact.
