Customer Service Administrator
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
Job Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Administrator to support their sales operations and ensure a seamless order management process from start to finish. In this role, you will act as the link between customers, internal teams and partners, ensuring the accuracy of order data, coordination of shipments and smooth processing of invoices. Your ability to manage information and communicate effectively will be key to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Administrator
Manage and process customer orders, ensuring all necessary information is collected and correctly entered
Coordinate with internal teams to follow up on order progress, shipping and delivery timelines
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order information in the company’s systems
Provide regular updates to customers and act as a point of contact for inquiries related to their orders
Support invoicing activities and assist with documentation and reporting when needed
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at streamlining processes and enhancing customer satisfaction
Key Skills and Qualifications of a Customer Service Administrator
Previous experience in a customer service, order processing or sales support role
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator with the ability to liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn
Experience within the manufacturing or engineering sector is advantageous
