Job summary

Halfords in Selby, North Yorkshire, is hiring for a part-time Retail Assistant role. The position is 16 hours per week with hourly pay between £10.85 and £12.71, depending on age. You will learn product knowledge and fitting services and help customers on the shop floor.

We train colleagues heavily and support development across Retail and the Group. A proactive, team‑oriented attitude and availability for weekends are key requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail sales environment.
• Proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs.
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
• Ideally, some experience of working towards and achieving sales targets.

Ideally, you already have Retail sales experience but if you've worked in another customer focused sales environment, we're likely to be a great fit for each other.
