Job summary

Halfords Fareham is seeking a part-time retail colleague to deliver friendly customer service, explain our products and fitting services, and help customers choose the right items. You’ll learn product knowledge and gain the skills to wow customers through training.

You’ll work a rota including weekends, with opportunities to progress within the UK\'s leading motoring and cycling retailer. Training and support are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail sales environment.
• A proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs.
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.
• Ideally, some experience of working towards and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and explain our products and our fitting services to customers.
• Provide product knowledge and skills training to help colleagues wow customers.
• Support customers throughout their shopping journey and process sales efficiently.

Ideally, you already have Retail sales experience but if you’ve worked in another customer focused sales environment, we’re likely to be a great fit for each other.

To be successful in this role you will need:
