Position Purpose

To drive customer retention through marketing activities in support of the CHEP Europe Pallets business objectives.

To create marketing content that articulates the business value proposition to retain & grow with the European Strategic Partnership accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create marketing content to deliver targeted & measurable campaigns that support the EU Retention strategy, collaborating with agencies as needed.
  • Apply Account Based Marketing principles to European Strategic Partnerships and support with executive content for C-suite customer meetings.
  • Support contract renewals, especially for EKA, European Strategic Partnerships tenders, and Top to Top initiatives, including content creation.
  • Build connections with customers to gain referrals and renewals, collaborate with sales and marketing teams for consistent messaging, and gather customer feedback to inform strategies.
  • Act as a brand champion, ensuring marketing activities align with brand compliance and global initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and leverage customer interactions for content ideas, staying updated on industry trends.
  • Manage budget and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Participate in European or global retention and customer experience projects as required.
  • Report regularly on progress with clear metrics for all activities.
  • Maintain workflows using tools like Monday.com with accurate timelines and dependencies.
  • Align all work with team and business goals, articulating this to the wider organization.
  • Manage unplanned requests and drive planned content related to brand and contract negotiations.
  • Identify operational efficiencies and opportunities for collaboration, fostering continuous improvement.

Skills / Experience

  • Experience in planning and executing B2B marketing strategies and programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and savvy.
  • Strong customer focus and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in marketing content creation.
  • Support for retention initiatives across Europe.
