Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking a Customer Project Specialist - Commercial Vehicle based in Hounslow, London. You will coordinate customer projects from order placement through delivery, working with customers and cross-functional teams.

The role requires at least 3 years in project coordination or similar, strong organisational and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Automotive or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in project coordination, delivery, or similar.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Detail-oriented with strong administrative/reporting skills.
• Ability to analyse data and prepare accurate reports.
• Customer-focused with proactive problem-solving.
• Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, engineering or manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer projects from order placement to delivery.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Maintain dashboards, agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
• Monitor progress, milestones, risks, and escalate issues.
• Build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to meet timelines and objectives.
• Collect and report project data, KPIs, milestone updates.
• Keep project information up to date in internal systems.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance delivery and satisfaction.
• Undertake other duties as required by the business.
