Job description

Join the Close Brothers Savings Team, where you will ensure that the onboarding of Retail and Corporate customers is in accordance with departmental procedures and within agreed SLAs. Working as part of the Operations team, our ideal team member will have previous experience in a regulated services environment with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  1. Create and maintain customer records in Temenos (T24) system.
  2. Complete due diligence on new and existing customers in accordance with the department’s onboarding procedure.
  3. Process ongoing account requests, ensuring customer instructions are acted upon efficiently and work is completed to Savings Operations standards.
  4. Represent the department in user testing changes to applications and systems, communicating results accordingly.
  5. Develop an understanding of how Front Office, Back Office, and Customer Operations interact, building cross-departmental relationships.
  6. Support ongoing projects, completing retrospective reviews to ensure data accuracy of records held.
  7. Provide telephony support to Customer Services during peak periods.
Customer
  • Maintain a customer-focused mindset, ensuring that correspondence is clear and accurate, and instructions are responded to within SLAs.
  • Champion the customer and provide excellent service.
Conduct, Risk, and Compliance
  • Ensure all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to, and all reporting activities required by Regulatory Bodies are completed to standard.
  • Escalate issues and process gaps to the line manager, developing knowledge of operational and conduct risks.
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience in a regulated services environment.
  • Good organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Able to adapt and prioritize a varied workload in a busy environment.
  • Proactive attitude with experience in process improvement.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
