Kelling Group Limited is seeking a proactive Hire Desk professional to be the central contact for customers, building strong relationships and product knowledge to translate needs into hire solutions while maximizing sales opportunities.

You will liaise with drivers, operations, and depot teams to ensure fleet readiness and timely delivery. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for success in this customer-focused role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and hire desk experience.
• Ability to meet targets and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Professional and courteous customer service with accurate information.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to support others.
• Proficiency with IT for documentation and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Handle hire enquiries via phone, email, and internal systems.
• Coordinate with depots and transport teams to prepare fleet and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate contracts and orders in systems and paperwork.
• Build strong relationships and translate customer requirements into hire solutions.
• Act as a Customer First ambassador and resolve issues promptly.
• Develop knowledge of equipment for hire or sale and assist BD managers.
• Follow Employee handbook policies and perform other duties as required.
