Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Service Advisor for Volkswagen Exeter to be the main point of contact for customers while their vehicles are in for maintenance and repair. You will communicate progress, promote services, and support a high standard of customer care in our Exeter Retail Centre.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging customers throughout the day.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build trust.
• Recognised talent for identifying needs and upselling relevant services.
• Strong time management and the ability to work under pressure in a busy workshop or showroom.
• Experience in a target-driven role with a focus on achieving goals.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers and maintain a friendly, professional approach throughout the day.
• Keep customers informed on progress and vehicle status to ensure transparency.
• Develop product knowledge through manufacturer training and on-the-job learning.
• Promote additional services and repairs based on technician recommendations to protect vehicle health and revenue.
• Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately for the workshop.
• Make pre-appointment courtesy calls to confirm bookings and address questions.
• Maintain accurate customer records in our systems for service management.
