Job summary

Emplyfy, an IT MSP, seeks an experienced IT engineer for a hands-on role delivering support and infrastructure services to well-known businesses. The role involves direct customer interaction, remote work and on-site visits to client premises across the UK.

You will resolve technical issues, manage incidents, and maintain service quality while documenting work and collaborating with the wider team. 5+ years in IT engineering and security-focused experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar IT engineering role.
• Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
• Experience with Azure administration and implementation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer-facing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers as a trusted contact for support matters.
• Visit customer sites to resolve issues and perform installations.
• Manage incidents and requests via the Service Desk system.
• Escalate complex issues to Management when needed.
• Organise daily workloads and address urgent tasks promptly.
• Monitor environments to ensure reliability and business alignment.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair IT hardware and software.
• Keep accurate ticket logs and document actions.
• Respond to major incidents remotely and on-site.
