Job summary

Dexory seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the engineering organisation. You will bridge teams, own complex issues, and represent Dexory at customer environments while helping shape how the function scales.

You will query data from logs, databases, and telemetry, interpret point cloud data, and navigate Grafana and AWS. You will drive reliability, support deployments end-to-end, and translate findings into actionable improvements for the platform.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of professional solutions engineering or technical operations experience.
• Strong data querying with SQL and time-series telemetry analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Grafana and building dashboards.
• Experience in Linux environments: SSH, Bash, logs.
• Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python or an equivalent scripting language for tooling and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tooling.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.
• High agency with ambiguity and independent problem solving.
• Willingness to travel internationally to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional triage and investigate issues from first‑line support.
• Monitor fleet health with Grafana; build dashboards and alerts.
• Support end-to-end new customer deployments including WMS/ERP integration.
• Own escalation path and provide structured summaries to engineers.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and run workshops.
• Translate field learnings into product and engineering feedback.
• Develop scripts and tooling to automate repetitive tasks.
