Our beautiful Grade 2 listed theatre attracts a dedicated regional audience, hosting over 300,000 visitors annually for a variety of productions, including West End musicals, concerts, comedy, ballet, and opera. With a capacity of 2000, Sunderland Empire is the largest seated theatre between Edinburgh and Manchester. We have hosted top West End musicals and stars, while fostering new talent through classes, recitals, and community work.

Role Overview

As part of the Customer Experience team, reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, you will supervise the Customer Experience Team. Your role involves leading a strong Front of House operation to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. You will oversee a team that aims to meet and exceed targets, contribute to venue profitability by initiating sales and cost-saving ideas, and promote a positive, innovative, and customer-focused culture. Building and maintaining key relationships with customers, promoters, suppliers, and colleagues is essential.
