Job summary

Clancy is seeking a Customer Liaison Manager to support the Southern Water contract. You will act as the link between operational teams, customers and local communities to ensure clear communication through major infrastructure projects.

You will own customer engagement across multiple projects, build positive relationships, manage enquiries, and travel to sites for regular face-to-face engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer liaison or stakeholder engagement in utilities, infrastructure, construction or a similar operational environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel across UK sites and engage with communities.

Responsibilities

• Act as main contact for customers, stakeholders and Southern Water throughout project delivery.
• Develop and deliver customer communication plans for major engineering works.
• Manage complex enquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Build positive relationships with residents, businesses, local authorities and community groups.
• Provide updates on programme changes, delays and milestones to clients and customers.
• Attend site visits and community/authority meetings to gather feedback and inform stakeholders.
