Job Description:

Position: Barista

Hourly Rate: £13.50

We’re seeking enthusiastic team members to cover full service hours from 8 am to 4 pm. We welcome applicants seeking part-time, full-time, or flexible shifts!

Benefits include a free bus service for staff on routes 21 or 460.

Ideal candidates will have great energy, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for coffee. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can craft a perfect flat white, we want to hear from you.

As part of our contract catering team, you’ll serve more than just coffee — you’ll create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality coffees and hot drinks to order
• Providing friendly, professional service
• Assisting with light food prep, restocking, and maintaining cleanliness
• Engaging with customers to enhance their experience
• Adhering to health, safety, and food hygiene standards

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a café (training provided if needed)
• A passion for coffee and customer service
• Reliability, confidence, and teamwork skills
• A calm attitude during busy periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings and lunchtimes
