Job summary

HSBC Group in Chichester seeks a Universal Banker to deliver outstanding customer service at the branch, educate customers on HSBC digital platforms and fraud awareness, and support those with complex banking needs. You will be the first point of contact, taking ownership of inquiries and ensuring a personalised, efficient service.

The role includes a 35-hour week (Mon–Fri 09:00–17:00, Sat 09:00–13:30), full training, and opportunities to assist other branches.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for branch customers and deliver an exceptional experience.
• Educate customers about HSBC digital services and fraud awareness.
• Identify customers in vulnerable situations and determine support options.
• Assist customers with complex banking needs and provide a personalised service.
• Participate in training courses and apply learning in-branch.
