Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Stocking shelves and processing payments.
• Maintaining the store’s appearance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Know my customers and serve them with passion and pride.
• Encourage customers to provide feedback via the ‘have your say’ survey.
• Work across store areas including online, the tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines.
• Follow training to work safely.
• Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Understand store performance and the part I play in delivering profit.
• Follow policies and values, making everyone feel welcome.
• Clock in and out at the start and end of shift to ensure accurate hours.
• Keep myself, colleagues and customers safe by following safety procedures and wearing safety equipment.
• Think 25 policy when serving age restricted products to all customers.
• Respond quickly to assistance calls on self-service checkouts, explaining actions to the customer.
• Work in a clean, tidy and organised manner with aisles clear of congestion.
• May be responsible for running the shift in the absence of the Shift Leader and Store Manager.
• Follow all training to keep myself and others safe and legal.
• If this store has a Post Office Local, undertake Post Office duties and pass required background checks.
