Job summary

Whittard of Chelsea in Glasgow is seeking a Sales Advisor to join our store team. You’ll deliver warm, confident customer service, helping visitors discover the perfect brew and offering tastings and personalised recommendations even during busy periods.

Flexibility to work weekends and during key trading days is required, with a minimum of 4 days available. You’ll join a team focused on welcoming customers and maintaining a well-stocked, inviting store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable style.
• Confidence working under pressure while maintaining excellent service standards.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and busy trading days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service with warmth and confidence, helping every visitor discover the perfect brew.
• Proactively engage customers, offering tastings and personalised recommendations, even during the busiest periods.
• Support the team by managing tills, replenishing stock, and keeping the store looking welcoming and organised.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain smooth operations and a positive atmosphere.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and busy trading times with a can-do attitude.
