Job summary

Aston & Fincher Ltd is seeking a Store Assistant to help customers identify and purchase products and support the store team in Leeds. The role involves selling, restocking and merchandising, ensuring a clean, presentable store and high-class customer service. Working hours are 34 per week, with a £12.71 hourly rate.

The successful candidate will handle orders, keep shelves stocked, assist with deliveries, and participate in promotions while following company procedures and policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Store Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and punctuality.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders and assist in-store customers.
• Keep shelves clean, stocked and correctly priced.
• Operate the till and process orders.
• Assist with deliveries and stock transfers between stores/suppliers.
• Provide high levels of customer service and help maintain store appearance.
