Job Description:

My client, a leading IT Solutions provider, is seeking to recruit a Desktop Support Engineer to join an ever-growing Customer Support Function. This client has more than 10,000 employees worldwide and supports numerous large Enterprise Customers. The successful candidate will:

  • Own, investigate, and resolve customer technical issues, collaborating within and across teams and utilizing troubleshooting tools and practices.
  • Participate in communities with peer delivery roles and share knowledge where appropriate.
  • Develop technical and professional skills through training and readiness initiatives.
  • Identify potential product defects and escalate appropriately to aid in product improvements.
  • Communicate effectively in English.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in technical support or a related field.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Have strong knowledge of Office 365 technology and Office setup & deployment processes.
  • Be proficient in Office core applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, InfoPath, Access) and understand their integration with platforms like Windows, SharePoint, OneDrive, and mobile devices.
  • Additional desirable skills include networking, communication protocols (FTP, HTTP), object-oriented programming, and technical literacy.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs):
  • Relevant Microsoft Technology Certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience in technical consulting or IT roles is preferred.
