Job summary

John Lewis Partnership, Waitrose & Partners in Billericay, is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver. You’ll deliver Waitrose groceries to customers’ doors, load your van, perform vehicle safety checks, and represent the Waitrose brand with friendly, helpful service.

Qualifications

• Full UK B-category manual driving licence with up to 6 points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Able to cope with physical tasks (lifting crates, moving cages).
• Able to work independently with self-motivation and adaptability.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare van for deliveries to customers.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain road safety.
• Represent Waitrose brand with strong customer service.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport.
• Support shop team with general tasks when required.
