Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid UK B-Category driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Good time management to meet delivery windows.
• Ability to cope with physical tasks (lifting crates, moving cages).
• Independent working style with self-motivation and adaptability.
• Basic IT literacy for handheld devices and systems.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery routes for the day.
• Load and prepare the van for deliveries and organise orders.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and ensure road safety compliance.
• Be an ambassador for Waitrose with excellent customer service.
• Assist customers and build rapport during deliveries.
• Support the shop team with general tasks when needed.
