Job summary

Tesco Retail is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring groceries directly to customers’ homes across assigned routes. The role emphasizes service with a smile, safety, and efficiency on the road, with duties including loading, delivering in time slots, and handling customer changes with care.

You will work on a hands-on, varied schedule, independently most of the day, with support available from managers and base teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence.
• No more than 3 penalty points.
• Customer-facing driving role experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers within allocated time windows.
• Load and unload the van safely and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Communicate clearly with customers about orders and substitutions when needed.
• Ensure orders are delivered in good condition and on time.
• Maintain professional, friendly service and build trust with customers.
• Coordinate with store team and colleagues to ensure smooth deliveries.
