Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to be the face of Tesco on the road, delivering groceries and great service with a smile. You’ll be hands-on, physically engaged, and work independently much of the day with a supportive team at base.

Roles include a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, with some locations offering 12 hours and additional payments in certain areas. Expect to meet customers at their homes daily, load and deliver safely, handle substitutions, and maintain the highest

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Keep the van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised so every customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure it’s roadworthy and reliable.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers kindly, and provide refunds when needed to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot, providing warm service at the doorstep and ensuring customers feel valued.
