Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Maidenhead is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to bring Waitrose produce and Partner-led service to customers' doors. Role requires a valid UK driving licence (B) with <=6 points, a friendly approach, and physical capability. Flexible, varied hours listed for Saturdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Be 18 or older and eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full, valid UK manual car driving licence (B-category) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Bring strong people skills and a friendly customer service approach.
• Be prepared for physical work, e.g., lifting crates and stairs.

Responsibilities

• Be a friendly face for the Waitrose brand while on the road; deliver excellent customer service.
• Discuss order changes with customers and process refunds promptly if needed.
• Handle products with care and treat them as if your own.
• Ensure customers are not charged for substituted items.
• Assist customers with groceries and build trusting relationships.
• Familiarise yourself with daily delivery routes and vehicle safety checks.
• Support the wider CFC team with warehouse tasks when not on deliveries.
