Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring groceries to customers' homes and provide friendly, reliable service with a smile. The role is hands-on, physical and varied, with no two shifts the same.

You’ll work largely independently while supported by managers and colleagues back at base. Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in stores within the M25, with a minimum of 16 hours per week (12 hours also advertised).

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and safe driving focus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time to meet delivery windows.
• Flexibility to handle changing delivery schedules and routes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers within assigned time windows.
• Keep van, trays and work area clean and organized.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and process refunds when needed.
• Care for products during handling and delivery to maintain quality.
• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues on the road and at base.
