Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers in the United Kingdom to meet customers in their homes and deliver great service with a smile. The role involves hands-on, physical work, working independently much of the day with support from managers and colleagues back at base.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with roles from 12 hours also available. Flexible working options are available from day one.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong customer-facing service skills.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Adapt quickly to changing customer needs while on the road and in-store.
• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays, and work area clean and organised to ensure orders arrive in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and perform checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and process refunds when needed.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot, provide warm service at the doorstep, and leave customers feeling valued.
