Job summary

ASDA in Weymouth is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join the store team on a permanent part-time basis.

You will work afternoons, 22.5 hours per week, delivering groceries to customers and helping with van checks, loading, and online order packing when busy.

A valid UK driving licence and flexibility to weekend/evening shifts are required; full training provided.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the van and deliver to customers' front doors with a smile.
• Deliver to regular customers and ensure smooth operation.
• Keep the van clean and ready for the next delivery.
• Help the team with online orders when busy.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.
