Job summary

ASDA in Peterlee is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll load your van, deliver groceries to customers’ front doors with a smile, and help your team when needed. The role involves afternoons shifts, 28 hours per week, and a focus on friendly, efficient service.

A valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) with up to 6 penalty points is required. Training will be provided and you’ll join a supportive store team with colleague discounts and pension benefits.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.
