Job summary

Asda is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in Cambridge to join our store team. The role is part-time permanent with anAfternoons shift, 21 hours per week, and tasks include loading the van, delivering to regular customers, and ensuring orders reach customers’ doors with a friendly, helpful attitude.

You will work closely with the team to maintain service levels, pick and pack online orders when needed, and keep the van clean and ready for the next delivery.

Responsibilities

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.

What you’ll bring:

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.
