Job summary

Asda is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Colne. This part-time, permanent role requires you to load and deliver orders to customers’ doors, while keeping the van clean and ready for the next trip. You’ll also assist with online orders when busy and enjoy a supportive team environment.

You’ll need a valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) with up to 6 penalty points, and demonstrate reliability, good communication, and a flexible approach to shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
