Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is hiring a part-time Customer Delivery Driver in Inverness (Slackbuie). You will be delivering groceries to customers, loading your van and keeping it tidy. The role emphasises customer service, reliability and teamwork with shift patterns on days.

Training is provided for van preparation and health/safety. Eligible candidates hold a UK driving licence with minimal penalty points, strong communication, and flexibility for weekends/evenings.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings - no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Load your van and deliver to customers' front doors with a smile.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
