ASDA Stores Ltd is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Galashiels. This part-time role involves loading the van, delivering to regular customers and keeping the vehicle clean for the next run.

You’ll work 15 hours a week on days, with training provided and opportunities to support the store team during busy periods. A UK driving licence is required and customer service skills are valued.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Strong customer service and a friendly approach.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload the van and deliver to customers' front doors.
• Ensure the van is clean and ready for the next delivery.
• Assist team with online order picking and packing when needed.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
