Asda in Ashington is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to be at the heart of the customer experience. You’ll load your van and deliver to regular customers, ensuring on-time service with a friendly smile.

Training will be provided; you’ll help with online orders when busy, and keep your van clean and ready for next shift. Shifts are afternoons, 16 hours weekly, with a competitive hourly rate.

• Deliver groceries and other products to customers' doors as part of the store team.

Whether you're loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.

What you'll bring

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings - no two days are the same.
