Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Customer Data Analyst in Cambridge to turn customer data into actionable insights that drive engagement and strategic decisions. You will build dashboards, support CRM initiatives, and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and IT to improve marketing effectiveness.

The role requires a data-driven mindset, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Hybrid working with some office presence in Cambridge is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field
• At least 2 years' experience in data analysis or customer insights
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus
• Strong communication and storytelling skills with data

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze customer data across digital and offline channels
• Generate actionable insights to improve customer engagement and marketing effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Sales, Marketing, and IT
• Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Support CRM strategies by identifying trends, segmentation, and opportunities
