Job summary

Culina Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Controller within the Transport Logistics division. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, managing delivery requests from collection to final delivery and supporting the planning teams to keep loads moving.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off days shift (6:00-18:00) with a salary of £27,248 per year. You’ll use ESL in-house systems, handle customer queries, and contribute to reliable, customer-focused service across our

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
• Equivalent of 5 GCSEs grade C or above.
• Experience in a customer service environment.
• Good geographical or transport knowledge.
• Good numeracy and literacy level for accurate tasks.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft systems, especially Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact with customers about deliveries from collection to delivery.
• Create all customer orders on ESL in-house system per customer requirements.
• Liaise with Planning Teams and action change requests to ensure timely consignments.
• Action Driverline calls.
• Coordinate extra or short-notice loads and any applicable costs.
• Monitor delivery compliance and investigate late/failed deliveries to resolution.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and seek CS Manager sign-off when guidance is required.
• Learn and use customer-specific systems and report costs within defined timeframe.
• Complete daily task lists and support CS Team as needed.
