We are a leading solicitor’s firm based in Blackburn, dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to clients nationwide. With a team of experienced professionals, we specialise in handling no win no fee claims across various service areas, helping individuals and businesses retrieve compensation for financial mis-selling and consumer issues.

We are looking to hire a number of Customer Claims Handlers to be part of our growing claims processing team. Due to our business success in recent years, we are experiencing an extremely busy period of growth, which will create some exciting progressive job opportunities for you to work towards.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have proven experience of handling high-volume customer service/telephone queries.

The main responsibilities for the role are:

  1. Handling calls, support requests, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  2. Maintaining a database of customer information
  3. Escalating inquiries to the appropriate team, when necessary
  4. Being the point of contact for our customers in arrears
  5. Holding conversations to understand the customer's needs
  6. Demonstrating a 'customer first' approach by maintaining high-quality standards on every interaction
  7. Identifying issues, taking into account personal circumstances
  8. Problem-solving to reach the right outcome for the customer

You will need to have the following skills, abilities, and experience:

  1. Experience on the phone – incoming and outgoing calls (2 years desirable but not essential)
  2. Good communication skills – verbal and written
  3. Basic admin skills – the role involves updating claim files and CRM system
  4. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  5. Confident and resilient
  6. Ability to handle difficult conversations
  7. Experience in finance/claims/legal sectors desirable but not essential

This position will be 9-5.30, 5 days a week in the Blackburn office.

The salary on offer for this position is starting from £23k.
