Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Bradford is seeking a Security Officer to manage the day‑to‑day security operations at our distribution centre, delivering a professional, customer‑focused service in a fast‑paced environment. You will supervise the security team, conduct inductions, monitor CCTV and access control, and maintain accurate logs while upholding data protection and high industry standards.

A valid SIA license and fluent English are essential.

• Previous Security Experience.
• SIA License required.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Security function in the gate house and receptions.
• Be the first point of contact for the Security team and promote high standards of service.
• Induct and train new Security Officers in site procedures and systems.
• Foster teamwork, accountability and customer service across the team.
• Assist in performance management and staff development.
• Assist with security investigations, incidents and complaints.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and contractors.
• Ensure adherence to Assignment Instructions and site procedures.
• Ensure clear, timely security handovers and updates are acknowledged.
• Maintain accurate security records and logs to a high standard.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and information security policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
