Job Description

As part of the group digital analytics team, you will play a vital role in connecting customer data insights. Your responsibilities include analyzing customer needs and behaviors, reporting on customer health, and collaborating with CRM, Membership, Trade & Marketing, and wider digital teams to support data-driven decisions.

  • Utilize multiple data sources such as Google Analytics, transactional databases, and advertising platforms to develop a comprehensive view of the customer.
  • Collaborate with data engineering to prioritize data models and automation roadmaps to meet analytics needs.
  • Analyze large datasets using visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Looker) and present findings to senior management and digital teams.
  • Support the delivery of regular analysis and reporting frameworks to communicate customer performance effectively.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of customer communications through experimentation and incremental analysis.
  • Build relationships with data engineering, commercial analytics, and other stakeholders to ensure data consistency and governance.
  • Create tools and train teams to foster a data-driven culture and democratize data access.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL (required) and R/Python (preferred).
  • Extensive experience in analytics or business intelligence within ecommerce or retail environments.
  • Strong understanding of customer analytics concepts (e.g., LTV, CAC, RFM, Churn, NPS/CSAT).
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • A passion for data and curiosity to uncover insights.
  • Interest in the future of customer analytics, including lifetime value and retention strategies.
  • Experience building and briefing data models in cloud environments (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Ability to work independently and build strong stakeholder relationships across various digital functions.
