Job summary

B&Q is seeking a part-time Customer Advisor for Décor at Sprucefield. You’ll help customers, stock shelves, set up displays, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere.

Shifts are Saturday to Sunday, 7:00am–9:00pm, totaling 15 hours per week. Training in paint-mixing and timber cutting is available, with a strong emphasis on great customer service and teamwork.

• Sales responsibilities and helping customers with decor ideas.

Sales will be important, of course, as will things like managing stock, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great. You’ll have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber, but truly great customer service will be your main aim.

Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement, you’ll be right at home with us. You’re friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others. You’ll be happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working. You’re great at working in a team too, and flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
