Your company

A global and successful manufacturing company based in Wrexham is currently looking for an experienced French-speaking Customer Service Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. Leaders in their field and recognized for their innovation, this is an excellent opportunity for a manufacturing professional to join a growing and thriving business.

Your new role

You will be joining the Customer Services Team and will work collaboratively with both the commercial and supply chain teams. The main purpose of your role is to support a specific portfolio of customers to ensure that their orders are accurately processed and managed, whilst building long-standing relationships and understanding their requirements. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing communication between the organization and customer, ensuring that all data for the customer is accurate.
  2. Taking responsibility for the processing of orders, managing them through to payment, and building long-standing relationships in the process.
  3. Monitoring customer KPIs and working closely with other teams to ensure credits, debits, and rebates are handled smoothly.
  4. Having an excellent understanding of customer requirements, always driving for customer satisfaction.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, previous experience working within the manufacturing industry or in a similar role, dealing with a complex order book, is required. You should demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be an excellent team player. Proficiency in SAP is highly desirable, along with working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems. Fluency in French is essential. Additional fluency in another language such as Spanish, Italian, or German is highly desirable but not essential.

  1. Experience within the manufacturing industry or supply chain, ideally with an understanding of export compliance and contract administration.
  2. Ability to solve customer problems as they arise while maintaining and increasing stakeholder relationships.
  3. Accuracy and attention to detail.
