Job summary

Leeds College of Building, the UK's only specialist further education construction college, is seeking a Curriculum Manager for Construction Crafts to drive curriculum management and improve student outcomes. The role involves leading curriculum areas, staff and student groups while introducing innovations to advance teaching practices.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of good/outstanding teaching, assessing or training in construction and the built environment.
  • A full teaching qualification (minimum Level 5) or willingness to work towards.
  • A relevant vocational or professional qualification at Level 3 or higher, alongside industry experience and knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills to inspire and support both adults and young people in achieving their learning and career goals.

Your Role: Make a Difference

As Curriculum Manager, you'll work closely with the Head ofConstruction Craftsto:

  • Drive effective curriculum management and achieve high standards in student learning and outcomes.
  • Manage specific curriculum areas, student groups, and staff, ensuring excellence in education delivery.
  • Take an active role in innovation, introducing and leading new developments to advance our curriculum and teaching practices.
What We're Looking For:

We'reseeking someone with:

  • A proven track record of good/outstanding teaching, assessingor training in construction and the built environment.
  • A full teaching qualification (minimum Level 5) or a willingness to work towards.
  • A relevant vocational or professional qualification at Level 3 or higher, alongside industry experience and knowledge.
  • Strong communicationskills to inspire and support both adults and young people in achieving their learning and career goals.
  • Experience in managing staff and curriculum is desirable but not essential.
