Maths Teacher and Curriculum Lead for Maths
Snowdon Village – Bristol Futures
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: M1 – UPS3 (£31,650 - £43,607)
+ TLR: CLF Teacher TLR Allowance 2A
Start Date: Term 4 - February 2025

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Maths Curriculum Lead to join our supportive and talented team at Bristol Futures Academy. The successful candidate will be based primarily at Bristol Futures Academy but will have leadership time to support our other sites (The Nest, Engage, City School) with their Maths Curriculum.
Our Academy:
Snowdon Village is a multi-site, cross-phase alternative provision that sits within the heart of the CLF. Our primary aim is to meet the needs of children and young adults who have social, emotional, and mental health issues by offering alternatives to mainstream school.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a strong teacher with secondary school experience who has excellent communication skills and can inspire and motivate children who have experienced challenges in their lives. We also welcome applications from primary school teachers interested in working with secondary-aged students.
Your skills will be used to plan and consistently deliver high-quality lessons. You will have experience in delivering the curriculum in your chosen area and be able to design curriculum pathways outside of your specialism. A well-qualified specialist, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, you will have the ability to teach students aged 14 to 16.
