Job summary

Herts Regional College in Broxbourne is seeking a Curriculum Area Manager for Built Environment and Motor Vehicle. You will develop, plan and manage the Construction area across FE, HE, Full-Cost Recovery and Apprenticeships programmes, working with the STEM Director of Curriculum.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, timetabling and resource management, collaborate with English & Maths, report on quality data, and drive learner outcomes.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Level 4 qualification (e.g., HND, degree, professional qualification).
• Maths and English qualifications at minimum Level 2.
• Proven track record in middle management with improvements to provision and learner experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and manage the Construction area across FE/HE, Full-Cost Recovery and Apprenticeships.
• Oversee day-to-day operations: staff deployment, timetabling and resource management.
• Report on quality assurance through learning walks, observations and data analysis.
• Ensure learner outcomes are high by setting targets with the Director of Curriculum.
• Manage the Construction area budget and balance resources with income targets.
