Job summary

Herts Resourcing Group Ltd is partnering with a vibrant further education college to recruit a Curriculum Area Manager for Built Environment and Motor Vehicle. The role covers Construction across FE, Higher Education, Full-Cost Recovery and Apprenticeship programmes, working with the STEM Director of Curriculum across all college sites.

Qualifications

Minimum level 4 qualification (HND/degree/teaching) or equivalent.
Maths and English qualifications at minimum Level 2.
Proven track record in middle management with a focus on quality improvements in provision and learner experience.

Responsibilities

Develop, plan and manage the Construction area for FE, HE, Full-Cost Recovery and Apprenticeships across all College sites with the Director of Curriculum for STEM.
Oversee day-to-day operations including staff deployment, timetabling and resource management.
Report on quality assurance via learning walks, observations and data review (attendance, retention, value added, pass rates).
Set and drive outcomes for learners by agreeing targets with the Director of Curriculum and ensuring delivery of results.
