Job summary

Birmingham City Council is seeking a Culture Compact Development Manager to lead the delivery of Birmingham's Cultural Strategic Framework, working with cultural organisations and partners to secure funding and deliver key initiatives.

The role requires substantial experience in cultural or arts development, strong collaboration skills and the ability to translate strategy into action within a complex partnership environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of cultural development, arts development or the creative industries.
• Experience collaborating with partners, stakeholders and communities.
• Track record delivering complex projects across partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of priorities within Birmingham's Cultural Strategic Framework.
• Support and advise the Cultural Compact Board and CIO trustees.
• Develop and maintain partnerships across cultural and creative sectors.
• Identify and secure external funding opportunities.
• Coordinate and administer Compact meetings and activities.
• Oversee Shared Fund allocation for Culture Compact.
• Monitor and report progress against strategic objectives.
• Represent the Cultural Compact at forums and events.
