An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Birmingham City Council as a Cultural Compact Development Manager. This is a strategic role at the heart of Birmingham's cultural sector, leading the delivery of the city's Cultural Strategic Framework, Together on Culture. Working closely with cultural organisations, strategic partners, funders and stakeholders across the city, you will drive forward key priorities including the Creative City, Placemakers, and Magnets and Moonshots initiatives. You will play a leading role in supporting the Cultural Compact Board, developing partnerships, securing external funding, and overseeing the Compact's transition to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
We are looking for an individual with substantial experience within the cultural, arts or creative industries sector and a passion for making a positive impact through culture.
