Job summary

West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is seeking an Assistant OD Partner (Culture) to support organisational development, learning, engagement and culture initiatives across WMCA. The role includes coordinating learning content, culture programmes, inductions and data reporting, helping ensure an inclusive, well organised employee experience.

This is a 6‑month fixed‑term contract requiring a Level 3 OD/L&D qualification and strong stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering learning, OD, engagement or culture programmes in large organisations.
• Knowledge of OD, HR, EDI and embedding values and behaviours in practice.
• Experience with data and LMS systems to analyse and report on learning or culture information.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of inclusive OD, learning, engagement and culture initiatives.
• Coordinate learning content, culture activities and engagement campaigns.
• Assist with inductions and onboarding, engaging with senior leaders.
• Collaborate across OD, Learning, Inclusion and People teams.
• Collect and report learning and culture data, with dashboards and insights.
• Support development of learning resources, coaching and mentoring.
