Job summary

Leeds City College, part of Luminate Education Group, is seeking an experienced Course Leader to head our Culinary Skills courses at Printworks campus. You will lead, develop and oversee delivery to ensure learners achieve their potential and gain authentic industry experience.

This role also provides the opportunity to help shape the new Student Academy Restaurant and to build strong links with employers, offering learners real-world opportunities to succeed in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating a course or curriculum area.
• Passion for culinary skills and hospitality industry.
• Strong learner focus and high expectations for outcomes.
• Ability to use data to identify priorities and drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Culinary Skills courses to provide an outstanding learner experience.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain high standards of teaching and support.
• Monitor learner progress, attendance, retention and achievement.
• Shape and develop the Student Academy Restaurant to enhance the curriculum.
• Drive industry engagement and employer links for real-world experience.
