Job summary

The Opportunity Provider Ltd in Berkshire is seeking a Chef Trainer to mentor apprentices and lead hands-on culinary training across our Chef Academy. You will travel to visit apprentices and work from home the rest of the week, delivering engaging, practical instruction.

Ideal candidates bring experience as a Chef de Partie or higher, a professional culinary qualification, and comfort with tech tools. You’ll support learner progress while building industry links and planning effectively with

Qualifications

Proven experience guiding culinary apprentices.
Professional culinary qualification preferred.
Comfort with technology and strong organisation.
Level 2 English and maths (or willingness to achieve).
Full driving licence and own vehicle for regional travel.

Responsibilities

Guiding apprentices at all levels, helping them develop their skills and confidence in the kitchen.
Supporting apprentices at our award-winning Chef Academy. Providing hands-on training in essential techniques.
Personalising learning plans to suit each apprentice’s needs, ensuring they have the tools to thrive.
Demonstrating how functional skills like maths and English fit into the culinary world.
Building relationships with employers and updating them on their apprentices’ progress.
Managing administrative tasks and planning effectively using Google Suite and other systems.
