• Experience leading or coordinating a course or curriculum area.
• Passion for Culinary Skills and hospitality industry.
• High expectations of learners and colleagues.
• Ability to use data to identify priorities, monitor progress and drive improvement.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage a busy course leadership role.
• Committed to creating real-world learning experiences for employment/apprenticeships.
• Creativity to develop the Student Academy Restaurant and maximise learner opportunities.
• Willing to contribute to the wider success of the School of Travel, Food and Drink.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Culinary Skills courses, ensuring ambitious, well-organised delivery and exceptional learner experience.
• Provide strong course leadership, maintaining high teaching, learning, assessment and learner support standards.
• Monitor learner progress, attendance, retention and achievement and take action to support learners.
• Create an engaging curriculum developing technical, practical and professional skills for the culinary and hospitality industry.
• Drive industry engagement and employer links to provide learner insights and opportunities.
• Shape the Student Academy Restaurant project at Printworks Campus as part of the curriculum.
• Champion high expectations and professional standards for learners in the hospitality sector.
• Contribute to curriculum development in response to industry trends and learner needs.
